The students are doing a wonderful job so far this new school year. Curriculum Night is this Thurs.,Sept 2 at 7:00. I hope to see at least one parent for each student there.
This is my 20th year at St. Vivian School. I have so many great memories from my experiences here, including my student teaching here years ago. I love teaching Math, Science, Health, and Religion. It is so nice to be able to teach morals, values, and about Jesus on a daily basis. I received my BA degree in Elementary Education from the college of Mount St. Joseph. I went to Mother of Mercy High School in Western Hills and Our Lady of Lourdes Grade School. I have been married for 17 years to my loving husband Rodney. We have two wonderful children. Jake is 11 and Hannah is 9. We are truly blessed. We currently reside near Brookville, Indiana. |

| ANNOUNCEMENTS |
Please have your child study notes a little each night, instead of cramming the night before a test. They will have notes in their notebook or handouts to study from. They should do this whether or not they have a study guide. For Math tests there is always a great study guide at the end of each chapter. ****If your child gets a note on their test that says make corrections for extra points, please make sure that they do this and get your signature.
Please sign and return tests, below 80%, within 2 days of them being returned to your child. Thank you.

(lessons 1,2,3 and handouts)-study 15-20 minutes Religion- finished Chap.1 and test is on Thurs.,study guide will be given tomorrow Tuesday 8/31 Math- wb.p.10 Science-quiz today and start on lesson 4 Religion-review for test chap. 1
Wed. 9/1 Math-wb. p.12 Science- lesson 4, chap. 1 and test will be next Tues. Religion- test tom. study chap.1 study guide and highlights
Thurs. 9/2 math- wb. p.14 Science- p.30-31 due on Monday and test is Tues.-keep studying Religion-test today
Friday 9/3 Math- wb p.16 Science-p.30-31 due Monday and test Tues. Religion- start new chap.

| please see student handbook Always have a red pen, blue pen, pencil, looseleaf, highlighter, and choice book with you at all times. Replace notebooks when they fill up. |
