WOW!  It's offical - the school year is off and running!  It has been a great start so far.  I expect nothing short of a great year.

    My summer was wonderful!  My son Jon became engaged!  We are so happy for him and Karen.  She is an art teacher in the Milford City Schools.  The wedding is planned for next July.  It will be here before we know it.  My daughter Emily continues to work at the hair salon Paragon.  She is very good at what she does.  Bill and I took a mini-break to Gatlinburg a few weeks ago.  It was nice to just get away for a couple of days.  We were able to experience the unbearable heat in a different part of the country.

     This year is the start of 36th year of teaching, and it is the start of my 23rd year here at St. Vivian School.  I continue to say that being here is a blessing.  I am teaching second generation students.  I think that says a tremendous amount of good about St. Vivian!
