A Message From...
Mrs. Plummer

Hello! My name is Mrs. Plummer and the 2011-2012 school year marks my sixth year teaching here at St. Vivian. I'm a graduate of Xavier University with my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and my Master's degree in Elementary Education through Xavier as well.

A Cincinnati native, I attended St. Bart's for grade school and Roger Bacon for high school. Some of my family live in Cincinnati as well. My parents are both retired (my dad used to work for P&G and my mom was once a teacher too). I have a sister and a brother, both married and with kids (3 nieces, 2 nephews in total).

My husband and I were married in June of 2009. We have one child of the four-legged variety: our dog, Shannon (we named her after the city our plane landed in in Ireland for our honeymoon). We rescued her from an animal shelter. She is a beagle. She's a ton of fun!

Just this past June, we had our first child of the two-legged variety: our son, Aiden Michael. He was born on June 23, 2011 at 5:27am. He is a generally happy and healthy little guy and we are loving every minute of getting to know him. Thanks to everyone for your well-wishes and congrats throughout this past school year and over the summer!

I am an avid music enthusiast. I play the clarinet. However, teaching is my true passion. Here at St. Vivian, I teach 2nd grade Language Arts (Reading, Writing/Grammar, Phonics & Spelling).

HOMEWORK

Daily Homework will be recorded in the student planbook. Homework will be marked with an H with a circle around it to indicate the assignments that are to be completed and returned the next school day.
The Red Folder will be marked for each teacher's homework to be returned to school. One side will be for Harbstreit, the other side for Plummer. All Homework should be completed and returned in the Red Folder each day to be prepared for school.
Any paper marked with an H with a circle around it is Homework. This is marked in the same way in the student planbook for Homework assignments.
*Please be sure papers have not been lingering in your child's folder for an extended period of time. The more papers left inside of it, the more likely it is to tear. We are hoping to keep our current red folders until the end of each quarter so we have to take care of them. Clean out red folders!
