1-23-12  This week we will continue working on the short vowel sounds, with our focus on short o.  We will continue blending sounds and reading sentences and short stories.  In Math, we will begin measurement with length and adding single digits with sums of 12 or less.  Our 100th day will be Tuesday, January 31st and we will do lots of activities based on 100.  Look for the information page which is in your child's folder today, along with an information page about our Valentine's Day party.  Our snack helpers this week are: Tuesday-Isabel, Wednesday-Kelsey, Thursday-Eli, Friday-Faith, and Monday the 30th-Natalie.
