The 2010-2011 school year will be my fifth year of teaching at St. Vivian School. I teach sixth grade Reading/Language Arts and Social Studies. I am looking very forward to the upcoming school year!
I am a Cincinnati native. My early education was completed at St. William Elementary School and St. Ursula Academy. I graduated from the University of Dayton where I received a B.S. in Middle Childhood Education and I have also received my M.Ed. in Mild/Moderate Special Education from Xavier University.
I love to do anything that involves spending time with my family, friends, and especially my dogs! I have a chihuahua named Gus Gus and a boxer named Nellie. My favorite time of the year is the fall, so I'm looking very forward to getting the school year started! We are so blessed to have this opportunity to learn together!

Have a great Labor Day weekend!
Homework will be assigned to students on a daily basis. One of the biggest reasons homework is assigned is for PRACTICE. Homework helps students reinfornce concepts from class. Please emphasize to your child now that homework does include STUDYING. Homework for Language Arts, Reading, and Social Studies will be posted on this website daily, however, a technical glitch is not an excuse for a missing assignment. Thus, students, it is YOUR responsibility to fill out your personal planner DAILY.

Families! Our classroom library is in dire need of a makeover! My goal this year is to give it just that! The students and I would be very grateful to receive any new or gently used books you are willing to donate to our classroom. Need ideas? Check out www.scholastic.com. Students will have the opportunity to place book orders this year, and this is the perfect place to get started looking!
We are also always in need of hand sanitizer for our classroom throughout the year, especially during the winter season! |
