The 2011-2012 school year will be my sixth year of teaching at St. Vivian School. I teach sixth grade Reading/Language Arts and Social Studies.
I am a Cincinnati native. My early education was completed at St. William Elementary School and St. Ursula Academy. I graduated from the University of Dayton where I received a B.S. in Middle Childhood Education and I have also received my M.Ed. in Mild/Moderate Special Education from Xavier University.
I love to do anything that involves spending time with my family, friends, and dogs! I especially enjoy reading, traveling, shopping, sleeping! I have a chihuahua, boxer, and german shepherd. My favorite time of the year is the fall. We are so blessed to have the opportunity to learn together this school year and I look forward to our time together!

Students are permitted to bring a HEALTHY snack each day to class! Fruits, vegetables, yogurt, or granola bars are a few ideas. Please also note that our classroom is "peanut free". |

Simple Solutions- 53-56 quiz tomorrow

Homework is assigned on a daily basis. One of the biggest reasons homework is assigned is for PRACTICE. Homework helps students reinfornce concepts from class. Please emphasize to your child now that homework does include STUDYING. Homework for Language Arts, Reading, and Social Studies will be posted on this website daily, however, a technical glitch is not an excuse for a missing assignment. Thus, students, it is YOUR responsibility to fill out your personal planner DAILY.

We are ALWAYS in need of hand sanitizer for our classroom throughout the year, especially during the winter season!
Gift cards to Half Price Books are always appreciated. I am always on the lookout for new novels to add to our classroom library. |
