My name is Colleen Daubenmerkl and the 2007-2008 school year is my 7th year of teaching in Catholic schools. I have really enjoyed my experiences at St. Vivian's and look forward to many more.
I graduated from Indianan University in 2000 with a degree in Secondary Education. My focuses were English and Health. After graduation I traveled to Ireland where I lived in Co. Lois and taught in at a private school, Ballyfin College, for a few months. It was one of the most incredible times I have ever encoutered! I love to share stories and experiences with my students, and I hope to visit again soon.
After returning to the States in 2001 I was a building substitute at Central Middle School in Columbus, Indiana. Shortly after, I moved to Cincinnati and began my teaching career in Catholic schools. I have had a wonderful career so far at St. Vivian's and look forward to the future here as well.
This past summer my husband, Scott, and I had our first child, Quinn Patrick, who was born on August 6. He has brought so much joy to our lives so far. We love to watch him do new things and grow with each day! |
