Mrs. Bruce

This will be my seventh year teaching at St. Vivian School. Prior to that, I taught for four years at St. James of the Valley School. I graduated from Miami University with both my Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees.
My husband teaches Computer Lab at Bethany School.
I have two children. Ben is a junior at Roger Bacon; Claire is in 8th grade! I also have two dogs: a golden retriever and a miniature dashchund. In my spare time I enjoy running. I have run all nine Flying Pig Marathons! I also coach a girls' running program called "Girls on the Run."

| Tests and quizzes will always be sent home on Tuesday. They will be due back to school by Thursday IF they need to be signed and/or corrected. Any grade that is below 85% must be signed by a parent. If the grade is less than 78 %, it must be both signed and corrected.
I give extra credit in Science class. Students are permitted to make vocab flashcards for Science vocabulary for every chapter. If needed, please buy 3 x 5 index cards.
In addition, I give extra credit for each Religion test. Students may take the online practice test and email me the results, OR they may print out the test and bring it to school.
In Math class, students may earn bonus points by completing bonus questions that are assigned during class.
