Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year. This is my seventh year as a 1st grade teacher at St. Vivian. When I was offered the job here I was so excited b/c this is where I went to grade school and I have been a life long parishioner. My husband and I have a son who turned three last April and his name is Tyler. We had so much fun with him this summer and we are looking forward to all the holidays with him this year. We also are expecting our second child this coming Feburary and are very excited about that. I attended St. Vivian for 8 years, then went on to Roger Bacon. For college I went to the University of Cincinnati and received my bachelors in Early Childhood Education. I am presently working towards my masters in Early Childhood Education and I am just about finished. -- |

| ANNOUNCEMENTS |
Welcome back!!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Break. Thanks again for all the wonderful gifts too!!!!! Now that we are back we are going to be in full swing. Please remember to start practicing the Guardian Angel prayer. This will most likely be tested by my sub, sometime at the end of March. Please ask your child if they need any new supplies, like crayons, glue, scissors, or erasers. Many children have lost most of their supplies by now. Lastly, we started Science this week. www.macmillanmh.com- This one goes along with our math text. When you click on Math, then click on the grade 1 book, and there are different activities for each chapter. This is also the website for Social Studies. Click on Social Studies, then our book All Together, and then whatever unit we are on at the time. www.handwritingworksheets.com- This is a great website where you can type in letters or words and print them off to have your child practice their letters. |

We really need some more dry erase markers for a our small dry erase boards. We use these for mulitiple things in our classroom!!!!!
