Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year. This is my sixth year as a 1st grade teacher at St. Vivian. When I was offered the job here I was so excited b/c this is where I went to grade school and I have been a parishioner all my life.

My husband and I have a son who turned 2 year old last April and his name is Tyler. We had so much fun with him this summer and we are looking forward to all the holidays with him this year. We also moved into a new house at the end of last school year and were very excited about that. 

I attended St. Vivian for 8 years, then went on to Roger Bacon. For college I went to the University of Cincinnati and received my bachelors in Early Childhood Education. I am presently working towards my masters in Early Childhood Education. --

Thank you to all the parents who came to Curriculum Night. I feel like it is a good way for Mrs. Shumate and I to explain what will be happening through out the year. If you did not make it I sent my packet home with your child today with some info. Lastly, I forgot to mention lastnight when I was discussing the tests that I will read all the tests to them. I do not expect them to be able to read the tests. If they can that is great but I will read the tests to them. Thanks!!!!!
